More Rooms, More Marble, More Style

Some of you have already enjoyed the changes and improvements we have made at Casa Carole. Here is a rundown.

First of all, we doubled the size of the Red bedroom at the entrance to the villa, added a large balcony and used marble throughout. The enlarged all-marble bathroom features a vessel sink and a glass brick wall in the shower. We were able to install a Queen-size bed and a mini-split air conditioner. This makes Casa Carole one of the few 5-bedroom villa right on the beach in Vallarta.

This renovation looked so good, we then tore up the floors in the 3 of the other bedrooms and their adjacent bathrooms, the Green, the Blue and the Yellow, installing marble floors throughout. While we were at it, we also replaced the floors in both the Living room and the Media room with classical Mexican marble. See the birds eye view onthe left of the Media room and Living room beyond

We have also reconfigured and enlarged the Orange bedroom, down of the Pool Deck, by removing the loft and raising the floor, so it is level with the Pool Deck. We installed a King-size bed and new mini-split A/C unit. We added closets and a vanity and a local phone connection, plus large French doors that open right onto the Pool Deck.

We relocated the stairs from the Living room to the Pool Deck to accommodate the Orange bedroom's new French doors. Earlier we had installed natural canterra stone on the Pool Deck. We also installed new canterra steps all the way from the Pool Deck up through the towers to the entrance. We used traditional hand-painted Talavera tiles on the risers to maintain the Colonial atmosphere at Casa Carole.
While we now have five full bedroom suites, we will still rent Casa Carole as a four- bedroom villa. Your only problem will be in picking which four bedrooms you want to use.
The beach remains the same with easy access to fishing boats and great snorkelling among the volcanic rocks in front of the villa.
And finally our staff continues to offer outstanding service to our guests. Just read the comments and compliments we have received about our staff. They are posted on the Staff Page of our new web site, which also features a reproduction of our 2007 Guest Book with its hand written comments, all posted on our new web site.
Please enjoy the images of the New Casa Carole on our new web site at www.casacarole.com and get in touch with me about a week at Casa Carole this summer.
